This 6-week therapist-led support group is designed for women navigating the emotional aftermath of divorcing a partner with addiction.
This is not a legal workshop or a skills class. It is a contained, supportive space to process the psychological and emotional realities that often follow separation—grief, relief, guilt, fear, identity shifts, and the complexities of ongoing contact or co-parenting when addiction is involved.
Each 90-minute session will include grounding, reflection, and guided discussion. You are welcome to participate with your camera off, and there is no expectation to speak or share unless you choose to.
Topics may include (but are not limited to):
Making sense of the decision—even after it’s been made
Grief that doesn’t look like grief
Guilt, anger, relief, and contradiction
Boundaries when contact continues
Identity after being “the responsible one”
What healing realistically looks like in this context
Topics will be responsive to the group’s needs.
Future groups may evolve based on participant feedback and participant needs.
This group is appropriate for those who have already separated, are in the process of divorcing, or are navigating the emotional aftershocks of leaving a relationship affected by addiction.
